Wieden + Kennedy is an agency in London which deal with a lot of ultra famous brands and it was good to have a look through their site which is packed full of their work. I find showing a large selection of your work on your site is important as it is the only way of people knowing what you are capable of. The site is a YouTube style site that looks modern and navigates simply but effectively.

We never start off by trying to create advertising. Our fear is that, if we jump straight into ad-writing mode, then we’ll get advertising that looks like advertising. We want stuff that’s got a brand or product idea first, rather than an advertising idea. So the first task is to come up with the ideas, writing, images, quotes, clips from films, or whatever, that seems relevant to the brand. In other words, we start by developing a rich and nuanced understanding of a brand’s voice. This is not a linear process of defining strategy that informs the execution. This is a way of working and thinking where strategy dovetails with creative. Each inspires the other. Hopefully this results in fresher, truer work. It’s an organic, collaborative process and our clients have hands-on participation at every stage. With each new task, we find an extraordinary approach in order to achieve extraordinary results.
